Same case different shape and neck.
I ran some numbers and with the load I'm using and bullet the recoil is just a bit less than a 338 Lapua at 53 foot pounds. I recently got some new Winchester brass for a 375. YOU CANT find 8mm RM brass any more. I already have around 350 brass but the brass were inexpensive and we had plenty of powder even at 83 gr each the bullets were also picked up very cheep. I went out today because it was cold and the wind was light. I have a membership in a small rifle range close to my house, by small I mean 2 tables at 100 and one at 2 and 3 hundred yards, but you can only use the long ones when no one else we shooting. I was by my self so I hung one target and shot all three tables. I hate fire forming so I try to make it fun. I got her done in an hour and a half. ![]() ![]() |

That isn't too bad for fireforming.
When you are fireforming do you load full powder charges?

Kind of, not max but near minimum when you fire form it's easy to get an over presser for what ever reason. You can use trail boss and fill them up but what's the fun in that...

Yes it can. We use powder we have lots of and never use. I have acquired pounds and pounds of bullets of all caliber and weights. Mostly for free.
