also, what bait do you use? do you use ice jigs? we've got a reservoir here that would be grat for northerns and panfish, but i haven't been icefishing for probably 20 years!

We Never eat any fish We just love to catch them. The only thing to use for ling is SUCKER MEAT on a plain hook and a good sized sinker. |

i figured that being related to cod, they would make some good eating. supposedly the milk river has ling/burbot....i might have to see if i can catch a few and will give them a try.

They are good eatin. You take the back meat and boil it then dip it in melted butter.
