We had a re election earlier this year when the government fell apart and Harpers promise if he was re elected as Prime Minister was to abolish the long gun registry. Needless to say we haven't heard another word about it since his re election.

perhaps the reason you haven't heard any thing of abolishing the Long Gun registry from the PM is because he is a POLITICIAN....
