Dang we picked up another one.
This time it's a savage Axis small shank in 22/250 ,24"barrel. It's not an accutrigger I guess that means it Gen 1. It looks like it has never been shot no scope ring marks clean as a whistle, $200 bucks. The plan on this one is a 25 creedmoor pre fit and a 20" barrel fast twist.   I have yet pulled the trigger on the 358 win barrel for my last "pick up" savage. But I did find a pre fit at Excalibur barrels here in MT with a 1x12 twist.  Edited by d4570 - 20 May 2025 at 08:34 |
