If there is something that is longer winded and less infoming that the Wyoming Non-Resident Regulations and Application...I don't know of it.

This publication is IMPOSSIBLE to understand.   Every year I apply and hope I get it right.  Are other non-resident hunters that smart or is the intent to make it so confusing that no body can apply???????

It did occur to me that Wyoming G&F may have English as a second language.

We the H%LL with you F&G people I'm applying anyway....if I get it wrong I will at least get my money back.

Bear - I find it's easiest if you don't try to read the directions. But in reality, as complicated as it may seem, I think it gives their G&F Dept. a better chance to micro-manage different species, and therefore offer more opportunity. Our F&W Dept. here in Maine is way too lazy to do that. On the bright side, if it discourages people from applying for draw hunts, that increases your chances of getting picked.

Mainer, I don't mind the actual laws....it is the booklet that sucks.  I don't see how they expect anyone to know what to.

Bear;

Call 'em & complain.  Better yet, call the governer's mansion & complain.  You think I'm kidding?  Wyoming is one of the few states where there is a very real chance your call will be taken seriously & passed on to the sitting governer.

I lived down there for decades & actually wish I could get back.  I have no reason to think that things have changed that much in the few years I've been gone.

Don't get me wrong.  I love the state and the people and the history, and the hunting.

The booklet is a joke.  I'm pretty sure I'll get my mulie tag.......but I could just as easy get an elephant license in Zimbabwe.
