Hey Billt,

Is that scope a "command Post" model?????

I've got a few of them.  That feature combined with decent optics make those great scopes.  Especially as my eyes get worse.  I've even got one on my crossbow, and most folks think that air rifles and crossbow are tough on scopes because of the negative recoil.  The one on the crossbow has accounted itself with 13 whitetails, one mulie and an antelope.  Not bad for an old scope and an old eye.

Glad to see you post.  Where you from???

Bear,

Yes, it's "Command Post" reticle. I'm not sure exactly how long Bushnell made that model, but I wish I had a couple more. I really like that scope. I mounted it on my very first "high powered rifle". It is a Remington Model 700 BDL in .300 Win. Mag. I bought it in spring of 1972 and still have it. It's the old model BDL that has the impressed Flur De Leis checkering. Whats kind of unique about it is it has a blued Stainless Steel barrel on it right from the factory. Remington made a small run of these guns at that time. It turned out to be too costly as they had to plate the Stainless with carbon steel so they could then blue it. By the way, I live in Glendale Arizona, (the west side of Phoenix).  billt

Those Command post scopes will never die.  When I got the first one I thoought that magnetic thing that moves thw post would break.  Well I've got 80 years of scope use and no breaks.

Did Tucson get hit with rain??????
