Hi NH,We have a (in years that aren't drought) a nice trout stream running through our property. After them I go west a little to get catfish and yellow belly perch. If I am lucky enough to get up north its barramundi.

On the coast whatever is running, but I am very partial to eating blue grendadier and snapper.

Hey NH; Where's the trout?  If you've never hooked into a 5lb Rainbow, you ain't been nowhere.

And spaeking of fishing, leaving in the morning for Northern California ( Weed). Nephew has a pontoon boat and it's 50 miles to Lake Shasta.

Crappie, Bass, Bream, and Catfish.  And that's just freshwater.  Saltwater is a whole 'nuther subject.
