Do todays rifles that are issued, have bayonet studs for mounting that weapon?

AR style m15.

spent this morning stripping an M1 Carbine, cleaned everything.  think the 70 year old operating spring might be tird, ordered a new GI one.

Took the 783 bolt apart, lots of wax/grease.  cleaned it gum-up/engine cleaner and relubed with teflon.

Spent some time fitting a bayonet to the carbine...not sure its use.

Sprayed the vegatation in the jungle behind the house.  called one turkey from my deck.

Getting close to  Marbiggie time.  Daughter do for dinner here 7:oopm...... venison steaks and rice, salad.

Some do, most don't. Depends on the application. Infantry does for Army and Marines, pretty much all other service rifles do not have the lug.
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!
