Didja ever get the throat slugged on that Marlin 30-30? What size did it come out to be?

grumble -

i plan on going shooting this weekend, and when i clean it, i intend to slug it then. this will give me time to get a dowel for tapping the boolit into the throat!

once i get this done, and know what i am looking for, i plan to get a sizer/gas check seater from LEE and go from there. from what i ahve been hearing, the microgroove will yield great results with little leading. i am looking at velocities no greater than 2000 or 2200; with the intended application of plinking and deer hunting.
