I'm not a big fan of stiff water and standing over an ice hole, but when that is the only option...

First fish through the ice-hole this year.

bear my money is on a  marabou jig ...
I'm with you Sky.
Even in an ice house looking down a hole all day sucks.
We fish Ling through the ice, you can catch them in day on a frozen lake.

Great looking fish.

This has been a crazy weather year here. We don't have "stiff" water yet.

I used both a little glow jig head like this one in the picture, and like d4570 said, I also used a marabou jig. Both were tipped with a small piece of night crawler. We would have used mill worms but couldn't find any in town.
