What does everybody think, fact or photoshop? Bill
N.Y.S. D.E.C. game commission officer Robert
Doe confirmed that this was
indeed a new New York state record coyote. Its official weight was 115 pounds, it is a very large male and was shot this (2005) regular deer season just out side the town of Hilton. It has been spotted on several different occasions chasing deer & livestock, dogs, and cats. ![]() |

That isn't a pure coyote. Some kind of hybrid.

Something isn't right. Look how thin the legs are on the
buck. Things are out of praportion. I seen a big coyote
walking across a field once at about 150 yards, but not that big.

I have deer hunted in Vermont for many years and have seen and shot at a few yotes that were damn close in size to this one. However, they are not pure strain coyote. They have a serious problem up there with coy-dogs. A cross of domestic dog and coyote. When a yote breeds with lets say a german shepard or vice-versa you get what appears to be a giant size coyote. Plus they have less fear of humans.
