Well last weekend 2 more guy's got shot on the Missouri side Spring turkey hunting.  Both will live but one may loose an eye.

Last year the brother of a guy I work with was killed fall turkey hunting by his partner.  Thing is they were using bows... He shot him at dusk mistakenly.  Seems he was schrunched down in a bush calling and the guy let one fly.  They air lifted him but he didn't make it.

Who would have thought turkey hunting would be so dangerous.  Damn'd stupid people shoot at what they can't identify.

Spot, I was at an NWTF function where a woman spoke on safety. She got shot TWICE in one spring. Once in Nebraska and once in Iowa or Minnesota. I can't recall which. Luckily the dumb asses that shot her never learned to shoot either as she escaped with just a few pellets both times. She now ties a blaze orange handkerchief on the tree she sits under whenever possible. RD
