Just cleaned up the pistols and the aluminum fram Kimber is showing wear on the frame rails and where the guide rod batters the frame.  I also have some scarring from using a Colt mag.  Needless to say, I'm not thrilled with these non-steel pistols.  I've probably put 5,000 rounds through this one.  Gonna upgrade my lube and leave this pistol in the safe more often.

Picked up a stainless Colt Commander XSE today.  Taking to the smith to fit the tactical thumb safety tommorrow.  I also put an arched MS housing and a beavertail grip safety.  Should have a range report by next weekend.
