I stripped down my crossbow, sanded the stock and im getting ready to camouflage it. I already painted it green for last year but i want to do a better job this year. Any advice on what kind of paint i should use to do this with? The paint i used last time kind of smudged if i held it too long from the heat of my finger tips. I already sprayed a grey primer on it for the base color. Also is there a way i can make stensils to give it a pattern? A friend from work does his own rifle stocks sometimes and he uses a lightning bolt kind of pattern when he sprays. Is there a good clear coat i can add to give it that nice shiny new look?
