You guys that have been on here for awhile know about my love for bowhunting and after surgery I have been stuck with an X-box (YUCK),also you'll be knowing my favorite bow is McPherson.

Well a deal came along on a bow that I couldn't pass up and I'm bound and determine to bowhunt again, piss on what the Doc. says. It's a PSE Diamondback,I put on a Montana Gold Dusk Devil and a Nap Quick set,it's got 80% let off and runs from 50/60lbs.  Would have gone back to my McPherson's but the difference is $400 and if I screw myself up again I didn't want to be out the big bucks, should be able to go pick it up today.

Sounds good. PSE seems to get a bad rep for being a cheap bow, but I think they make a pretty decent bow. Just start low and get the muscles back into shape and I think you'll get back in it. Just don't push and hurt yourself doing it.

Bow started this morning here, time needed with the kids and its too warm so I'll wait a few days. Big itch to get out but more important stuff comes first.

I know where you are coming from. 12 inch opening in my chest still achs.

I just got back from a mulie hunt with my x-bow.  I like it but it isn't my longbow nor a recurve.  I hope by next year, if I can avoid more cutting, to be hunting with my browning recurve.

I've killed a lot of deer with a PSE compound.  Mostly twin cam models, and I note the Diamondback is a single cam model.  It should shoot great my PSE were right on, after some cam tuning.

Go for it but don't tear any thing, tendons and stuff are tougher to replace than archery equipment.

Good luck.
