Back in 1990 I was crop dusting up in Saskatchewan. At the end of the season I treated myself to a Rem 700 Classic in 300 WBY and a Bushnell Lite-Site 1.5x6 scope. It was the first scope to have a red dot in the center of the crosshairs at the flick of a switch. The thing only had one power setting but it was quite the new technology 14 years ago. From the start it was hard to twist the power ring. It had a screw on it that I thought was a tension adjustment but after loosening it I promptly lost it in the field somewhere. I've been using it on my muzzle  loaders ever since stuck at 1.5x. I bought a Sheperd for the 300 and that's a much better combo. I finally got around to sending in the Busnell about 10 days ago. My procrastination stemmed from the Canadian warranty card and registration. I got ahold of them on their web site and they said to mail it to KS for repair. I enclosed a note saying about what I've told you and to my surprise the UPS guy just dropped off a new 3200 Elite Firefly 1.5-4.5x I'm have the biggest smile on my face. I thought I should share my good fortune with you guys. Everybody expects this kind of service from Leupold but Bushnell? I can't remember what I paid for it but I'm sure the retail on the new one is about $100 more than the old one. If you have a broke down Bushnell contact Bushnell.com

that's excellent. sure is good of a company to stand promptly behind their product.

i'd wager the glass is probably higher quality to boot... sounds like you came out good!

I love to hear good stories like this... even if it isn't Leupold.  You never know, one of these days I might put a Burris on something.

Good on you DD. I had a bad experience with them a few years ago, over, of all things, sunglasses. I have worn Oakley's ever since.............Kingpin
