One of these day's I'm gonna buy me a scope that has a rangefinder built right in.  I'd like one with them fancy hollywood graphics tell'n me the speed of the object, and it's distance, my bearin' and such.

Heck, may be they'll make one that can zoom in like they had on them star war's binoculars!  And why don't they put a GPS in there two just for the count...  maybe a camera phone, with video so I can immediately send back my Red Mist kill's the the PETA website...

They do have the newer scopes that have the built in camera that can take pics or automatically snaps one on firing to see where the crosshais were when you pulled the trigger. Not sure on the quality of the scope or camera but its an interesting idea. I think the rangefinder idea is neat, but I see to many accidents because of it. I can see someone with a loaded rifle, safety off, panning around getting distances, the rest is just dumb luck.

Stupid people are like a slinky, they don't serve much purpose in the world but they sure are fun to watch tumble down the stairs!

spot: i have 1 of the first scopes with a range finder. i think.. bushnell made then. its a 3x9 and it has 2 lines in the optics. you change the power setting till you bracket the animail betten the lines and you look at the top and it will tell you what the range is.within 25 yds. there is a chart and it tells you how to use it for diffrent game. then it has a bullet drop compensater you can dial in for the yardage. it has differnt rings that you put in and a blank 1 for home loads.
