When i was a kid, no one I knew ever saw a bobcat. period.

In the last 5 years we seem to have a boom.  They were on bounty when i was akid, but have been protected for about 40 years.  two years ago they were open to very limited hunting and trapping.  I've sen two while hunting turkey this year.  they are way to beautiful for me to shoot.  But i always wanted a mount.  In North and south Carolina, I see lots of them when deer hunting.  some times one or two a day.  maybe a carolina cat moount is in my future.

Anyone seeing lots of cats?????

Bear; In our neck of the woods you seldom see one, that's because they don't let ya. We have plenty in Wyo. Also over abundance of lions. You can get a license to hunt lions, but it's tough huntin. Gotta use dogs and once they get you on a cat you better be able to keep up for as long as it takes. Strickly a young mans sport.

On memorial day a Dep Sheriff had to shoot a 2 yr old black bear. He was harassing folks at the Rec Center ( just south of the Interstate a mile south of Glenrock) They get to where they aren't afraid of humans and there is trouble. Jim told me this morning it's the 4th one they've had to dispose of this spring. This is at the request of the Game and Fish. All within 10 mi radius of town.

REc Center, sounds like garbage barrels for food waste.

A free meal with lots of fat and sugar is just too attractive to blacks.  We hav lots of bears in Pennsylvania (black only).  I've seen them in the city limits of Pittsburgh.    Lots of folks including non-hunters like to feed them.  Makes for bear problems.  They just passed a "no feed" law with big fines.
