Finally got to handle one today. Can't say I am impressed by the trigger. Seems to get a lot of praise in the firearms press, but it isn't for me. A pivoting trigger and a preloaded hammer just doesn't feel like a 1911 style pistol. I'm sure going to pass on these.

yeah, the trigger is overrated. but i do have to admit, for a dao trigger, it isn't bad for what it is. it is by no means a good trigger, but for a dao...

have heard of a lot of problems w/ para's mags. dunno if it is true or not, but fwiw.

i sure wish i could get another look at their p-12's and 14's though... i've never handled one, and they appeared pretty nice... 'course, its been several years since i've even seen one, now...

I carry a P-12 pretty much on a daily basis, and I like it better than other 1911 style pistols. I have fairly large hands, and the double stack grip feels about right to me. Never had a problem with factory magazines, but did have an aftermarket mag crap out on me.
