A friend is looking to take some family members on a trout fly fishing trip in August.  most places have water temps too high for good trout fishing.

Any thoughts  where to go?

Bear,
Right now my area of Western Montana has record low snowpack, which means if we don't get timely summer rains there will most likely be fishing restrictions on most fly fishing rivers.Unhappy

Lizard Is probably right.
The upper Missouri Holter to Cascade will still be fishable and is a top notch blue ribbon trout stream.
