For our local Little League, we are having problems with homeless doing "Stuff." The last time they tried to break into a scoring tower and they turned the field lights on. This could easily be $1,000.

We want to install cameras that send a text when activated.

How do they work? Do they need Internet?

I think they work like a cell phone, You probable tie them to your phone or I pad.

try to contact a few camera makers for details on how they work....they use the signal like a cell phone and verizon for sure supports them. My friend has a camp in MN & checks his various cameras over there from his desk in WI.
