There very long, the price is about Hammer range maybe a bit less. I'd get some to test but they don't make 8mm. Your pics are first I've seen of that particular boolet. Looks pretty streamlined but spendy. I seem to remember that Winchester offered an tipped boolet at one time...called "silver tip". In 30-30/.32Spl calibers for sure and maybe in like 30-06/.308 & other calibers too. At one point in my hunting, I shot a lot of silver tip 30/30, back when I was in high school. The copper bullets are spendy. I use Hammer bullets and there like $2 a bullet.  ------------- Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box |

| You would need to make the 250 a long action to fit that bullet in and make sure the throating was cut enough to not engage the rifling too soon. They look cool. I still have some 257Rbts Winchester Silver-Tips. They go for big bucks nowadays... |

That would be a good bullet for a .257 Roberts. ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |
