I got an inflatable topper for my truck. YUP. Crazy right? It deflates and has no bars to take apart. Just hook up the inflater and strap it on to the gunnels of the bed. I'm not intending to have it on and up all the time. Just to sleep in when I have the 4wheeler or such. I'll take it off and store it in my truck top carrier when not needed.

Looks good.
How rigid is it? can you put it on yourself or does it take two?

Very ridged, there is tie downs on top. They claim you can put 80 pounds on top. I could not put it on yesterday, my truck was in the tire shop, I had a tire that got skewered by a peace of tempered steel and had to be replaced. I moved it in to my garage by my self last night. I'm sure I can put it on by my self. I'll put up pics.

D, Can you drive with it on? How will it hold up to the sometimes fierce Eastern Montana winds? It looks nice and will be warm, dry, and cozy. Also, in the long run it will save you fuel costs by not having to travel long distances back home on every one of your trips.

They claim it is drivable and fairly dry. There is Velcro on the bottom I could attach to the bed sides, and make it very dry, but it's much harder to take off. Wind? we have wind?

It took about 30 minutes to fold it up and put it in to it's pack. It fits easily in to my cap top carrier. Took longer then it should, there is no instructions on how to fold it and make it fit. I had to figure it out with trial and error. It weighs about 60 pounds deflated.

That looks very nice D. I put a cap on my truck this spring, they are so handy for the hunting excursions. That inflatable looks neat. Looking forward for the field report.
