As per norm. Turkey and bear start next Friday. AND Here comes the snow, again. No snow all year and NOW there calling for a good size storm. I pulled out the snowmobiles and fired them up, I have the sled ready to hook to the snow dog. The boy was on logging creek today in the little belts, no snow but no water either. He did see some turkeys. We can now hunt them up there, closer than where we had to hunt them in the past. The bears are out and eating the green grass and Forbes. The snow makes it very hard to get in to them, the ground will not be frozen, that means MUD and snow.  ------------- Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box |

Typical. That'll make it tough hunting. This is the time of year we get our biggest storms. Speaking of bears. Where's Bear?

So what I'm hearing is you will be taking the 8mm for turkey and the 12 gauge for bear. You know if your hunting the one, you will see the other. ------------- ...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt! |
