No real boat ramp just off the bank, glad to have a "Mud Boat".
The bunks are an inch out of the water and the rear wheels of the truck are just in the water.
The "slick paint" is a must to get off and on the trailer. As you can see we are in 8" of water and it stays that way for 50 yards. The boy has airbags on the new tundra, game changer. We lifted the back of the truck 5" to get the back of the trailer almost in the water.
The wind was NE we NEVER have NE wind sucks to load. The waves increase in size when that roll over the mud flats. Going over the "Land Bridge" that separates the two lacks is like 3" deep. with 3' waves there was dry ground in between the waves.
The boat could span the waves, with the boy driving we just road the waves across. What a driver!

Swan and honker decoys with two crane off to the side.
We set there for 8 hours and never seen a bird...
Ouch

But waiting is half the fun.

I had a tiltbed trailer for my 14 footer, launched anywhere...even off a bridge into 24 foot of water.
