Yup that's the plan. Like another cooling fin on each side. There is about 2 Inches of space there too.

Got the foam in under the motor No cover over it , bulge pumps all hooked up time for another water test. I have change the drive a little and add two extension pods since the last test. AS A MATER OF FACT ! We took the mud boat AND the bug to a waterfowl lake and stopped in one of the small town we go through. A Deputy sheriff rolled up a long side us rolled down his window. With his chin down to his chest He said "Is that one of them swamp boats I see on TV and is that other one some kind of mud thing?" I said "YUP" were looking for some wet mud to go play in. Unintended consequences. I added flotation pods in the back to carry the weight. Which they did, but Now I cant get the nose to come up.
