Anyone know of a source for quality cast reloads? Possibly where I can specify the load data?

How about a source for quality carry ammo? Midway is out of everything I like.

Mule;

Go to Cast Boolits.com.  Everything you need information on should be there.  If I remember correctly, BSB's Waksupi is an old member there & may even be in admin.

try here.

Assume you know that if you want custom cast to your spec, you will be paying more than factory premium jacketed price!   custom+ $$$

Also, not many intelligent people will load your powder levels unless it is in the book...toooo much liability.

Thanks. I'll see what I can find out. So far, the shipping alone makes it cost prohibitive everywhere I've checked.

Yeah, wing. I ain't shot a factory load in 35 years. But I got a wild hair and sold my shop. Got plenty of bench room now, and I still have 1000s of reloads. But if I start shooting like I did, those will go quick. Just getting lazy, but I love reloads. I've got my target loads down so I can knock the ears off a piss ant. My SD load took years of refinement and shoot amazingly soft, and I've put it through the head of a sillouette one-handed at 100 yards.

I don't think you will ever be satisfied with factory loads.

Just my opinion.

Vihtavuori powders are the cat's meow for pistols. You may be right.

Back in the early 80s, I used to do custom reloading at a shop in Tucson that specialized in custom hunting ammo. It was also a gun store, but I worked in a shed in the back cranking out rifle ammo, and occasionally pistol ammo. Another guy ran most of the handgun ammo on a automatic press - 38 special and 357 mostly. 45 acp was mine, run on a Dillon 1000 with auto case feed. 44 mag was mostly hunting ammo, and I ran that on a single station press. I guess the liability world precludes that kind of operation these days.
