Since this is about handguns I posted this here but if it is better suited for elsewhere...be my guest.

I happened across this thread by accident and spent the better part of an afternoon reading it. It is interesting as it discusses the results of several caliber sizes and their effect on Bad guys' bodies. The main person in the thread has arrived at 'his' own personal reasons for the weapon he carries based on what he has observed over years of autopsy examination. The theme he develops parallels hunting caliber and ballistic discussions we have all engaged in at one time or another. Some others chime in with complimentaty questions and others on a more skeptical note.
