My two fav.s!!!!!!!!!the '58 will give ya more power and last longer as far as timeing and frame stretch( yes they will stretch),,go's,,,,but the '60's grip fits the hand like a cheerleaders waist( or a model '94's wrist ),,the ones I have had were equally accurate,to a certain point,,,then the '60 fell behind,,,but not by much.Either would penetrate a solid body electric guitar at30 long paces and take out a big chunk on the way out,,so either way plenty o poop!!!!cap and balls are the only single actions I like anymore!!!!!,,ANY OTHER CAP 'N BALLERS OUT THERE?????????????
ISK-KA-BIBBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first revolver was a Pietta made 58 Remington. I still have it, and shoot it occasionally. Good shooter, I have never felt underarmed carrying it.The Colt style does stretch on the brass framed madels, but in my experience,"frame stretch" is more often a loose cylinder pin that has been worked forward by the loading lever.

I've seen guys not pay attention when loading, misalign the loading lever with the cylinder throat, and horse the crap out of the loading lever. That almost guarantees that the pin will loosen and move. I've allso seen the wedge slot in the pin start to peen at the front and elongate...same symtems. If the slot lengthens, it is fairly easy to drill the front of the cylinder pin, tap the hole, and install a setscrew that the wedge will bear against. Loctite it in well, but you can adjust the slot length from then on.
