yesterday. my dad's brother, william george fischer, pased away in north dakota due to throat cancer. true to his character, he kept his illness from almost everyone he knew right up until the end so as not to burden his friends and family with his affliction.

"uncle buster" was a marine and one of the first to step ashore in vietnam. he brought home many troubles and had a hard life but he was always a fighter and never let any adversity bring him down.
