Hey Guys
Here an update on Brook from her Mom and Dads Care page's. Our God is great. I've been blessed by seeing how God heals these two kids,Brook and Beth. Thanks for your prayers.

Brooklyn has been able to rest alot today. She will be on the vent thru the weekend, and the doctors are hopeful that all this will clear up by Monday. Thank you all for all the love, support and encouragement from everyone!! We will keep you posted...

Brooklyn had a restful nite. She slept for most of it. Her lungs are begining to clear and sound better, so that is a step in the right direction to getting the pnuemonia cleared. Brooklyn is such an amazing and strong little girl!!!! She is fighting to get better with every breath!! We know her strenght comes from the LORD!!!

Brooklyn got her drainage tube out this am as well as the
stitches where the ICP bolt was. She looks great. A lot of the
swelling is down and she is SOOOOO READY to get the vent out!!! If
all goes well Sunday and with the procedure Monday and they do NOT
have to do a trachae then we may be going to a regualar room on
MONDAY!!!! Keep believing and praying with us that all doctors will
be proved wrong and she will not need trachae when they do the
scope on Monday!!

THE SCOPE IS FINISHED!! THE VENT TUBE IS OUT!! THE GI TUBE IS
OUT!! HER VOCAL CHORDS ARE WORKING!!! SHE IS BREATHING ON HER
OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GREAT PHYSICIAN HAS WORKED HIS MIRACLES
AGAIN!!!! JOIN US AS WE REJOICE THIS MORNING BECAUSE GOD IS
SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! SHE IS GETTING A LITTLE OXYGEN THRU A CANULE IN
HER NOSE, BUT OTHERWISE SHE IS ON HER OWN!!!! WILL POST LATER AFTER
WE SPEND SOME QUIET TIME TOGETHER.....

We have gotten moved into our new room this afternoon. They have
removed the GI tube. And Brooklyn has eaten some Mac-n-cheese!! It
is so great to be in a room with out all the tubes connected!! Only
one IV line left. Brooklyn is on top of the world tonite!
Hopefully, everything will settle down now and we can get some much
needed rest tonite!! REJOICE WITH US AS WE GIVE THANKS FOR ALL THE
LORD HAS DONE!!!!

Have had a very busy day. After being asleep for 2 weeks, Brooklyn is still raring to go at every moment now and keeping us on our toes!! We will be doing physical and occupational therapy five days a week and Mom and Dad will be doing the excersises on the weekends. In the morning, they are going to do an xray of Brooklyn's throat to make sure everything is working well and when she is swallowing the food and drink are going into the stomach like it is supposed to. They put the feeding tube back in today until they complete that test tomm. just to be on the safe side. She has her ups and down emotionally, but it is such a miracle before our eyes to see her able to talk and do all that she is doing right now!! Keep us uplifted with prayers for strength and courage as we continue our journey toward a full recovery!!!

ALL WENT WELL WITH THE TEST THIS MORNING!! BROOKLYN CAN NOW EAT
REGULAR FOOD AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT! SHE GOT TO RIDE IN THE
WHEELCHAIR FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WE PLAYED BINGO!! THE DOCTOR'S
ARE AMAZED AT HER PROGRESS. THEY HAVE TOLD US THIS MORNING THAT WE
NEED TO GET UP AND START WALKING AND BY THE FIRST OF THE WEEK WE
MAY BE ON OUR WAY HOME!!!! WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE EVERYONE WITH
US THROUGHOUT THIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!! OUR GOD IS TRULY AN AWESOME
GOD!! WE KNOW BROOKLYN IS A MIRACLE...

We have been on the go all day today!! Brooklyn has walked some
today with Mom and Dad by her side. She rode in the wagon and went
down to the lobby and rode the elevators. She is improving every
moment. Got fitted for her helment. Looks to be a great Easter
weekend. Rejoice with us this weekend as you spend time with your
families and go to church. We know our God is a Living God and that
he REIGNS!!!!
