Ok tas and all you Sightron fans, tell me about this scope. Also, where can i buy one of these? Cabelas doesnt have them. Neither does http://www.binoculars.com - www.binoculars.com or http://www.riflescopes.com - www.riflescopes.com . So where are they? I am specifically looking for the 1.5-6x42 for my Ruger.

jeff-

click http://www.sightron.com/index.php?action=sightron_dealers&state=New%20Hampshire - here  for a listing of sightron dealers in new hampshire. they can probably get you the best rpice, being local, or if you want i check with the sightron dealer here in lewistown for you.

i've only got an S1, not and S2. going from hearsay, however, these scopes are dang-near as good as leupies without paying the price. they also have a TOTAL no-fault warranty. if something is wrong with it, just take it to any sightron dealer, and trade it for a new one.

biggest complaint i can remember hearing is that one had the "paint" around the objective bell that ran a bit, looking drippy. another guy had trouble figuring out the ballistic mil-dots, but that was more an "operator error" than it was a problem with the scope.

NH

Bearbasin.com has them.  http://www.bearbasin.com/ - http://www.bearbasin.com/

I have a SII 6-24. I haven't really given it complete run thru but it seems good enough and worth the price. I don't think it rates the same as a Leupold vari-x III but it does'nt  cost as much either.
