Hey Kingpin,

What are the chances of getting a 28" barrel cut down to 26" and then fixed up for screw in chokes?

I'm seeing a good amount of 28" SBE barrels on ebay fer $200 a new 26 inch is 450 - just an idea.

Spot, I install choke tubes, also shorten barrels. After all has been written, I have come to believe that a 12 ga barrel burns all the powder in 26." Aside from my collector shotguns, all my hunting guns are trimmed to 26".  Currently I am using Colonial tooling and Remington tooling. Chances are good that I can do it for you................Kingpin

Hmm,

I think I would like to get one cut down to 24" for brushy hunting, and yote dispatching.  If I find one of them extra barrels I'll give you a shout.

Thanks,

Spot
