Ok, there are 54 days until duck season opens, I and a friend picked up 5 dozen decoys but they were cheapo's and worked OK last year along with a Mojo duck. Last year we built the blind for my friends boat so the decoy's were needed but cheap like I said.

This year I would like to start getting some really high quality decoys - but I don't know a good one from a bad one. Which are considered to be best?

What does duck taste like, I've never hunted em and if I wont eat it I wont kill it.

How a duck tastes greatly depends on whos cookin it, if it's me there probably aren't too many who'd want to eat it. I have a friend who makes jerky out of them. There is also a large chineese contingent at work that loves to get them from me.
