Here is a couple of pictures of the Model 17 S&W. It's not in perfect condition, but that way I don't worry if I take it out and shoot it...alot.

I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

Any idea how old they are DD? I bought them at a gun show to take pictures of this gun with. The gun was shipped from the Smith & Wesson factory in 1959.

I may be able to date them if you give me the codes from the end
flaps. Other than A, the letters are the date and the next numbers are
the day backwards. 41= the 14th.
They are correct time period for the gun. They went to a yellow box
with a red W in around 1966.
