Well, I know that every 22 rifle will 'like' one brand of ammo best.  So, I have a large shoe box with various types of ammo, to try out in new rifles.  I pick up a box anytime I see some new brand.


Well, got to testing some subsonic Norma TAC-22 40 gr hollow-points.

WOW, at 25 yards all 5 went into the same hole.  At 50 yards that went up to a group .26 CTC.

So, I figure that will be my squirrel load.

DRAT...now I find that Norma no longer imports those into the USA.  So now must scrounge small LGS to find a box or a 500 round carton.


why does this always happen to me?  if you see any let me know.

I does not just happen to you.
As you know I also load shotshells.
I got hooked on Rio cases, and yup no one is importing them...Cry

It's been a while since I've made the rounds to all the local shops.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

About 10 years ago, I bought and used some sub sonic 22 RF.  they were terrible for accuracy.  But these Tac 22 are more accurate in my CZ 452 FS than any other 22 LR.

must be something to sub sonic in Rimfire????
