Anyone have opinions of these? they are owned by Bushnell and They look to be a prertty good scope on the low end. they ARE made in China. But at least they are honest about it.

I have a Buck Gold on my 7mm-08 target rifle 3.5 x 10 x 50,I like it. Don't expect Lupy or Burris quailty but it's clear, clicks are right on the money and it works. I have never had it on a hunting trip just range time.

I have one on my 257 WBY, 4x16x56 30mm tube, as you can see, it's not a small walking around scope, I got the fine cross hair, I'm going to get this one, if I can also. http://www.natchezss.com/brand.cfm?contentID=productDetail&a mp;brand=MI&prodID=MIBK30733&prodTitle=Millett Buck Gold 4-16x56 Side Focus 30mm Tube Mil-Dot Reticle
It's not as clear as I would like, for the price "on sale" it's well worth it, it's clearer than the 6-24 bushnell I have though. Be prepared on how large they are though, it's as large and heavy as a nightforce. I haven't shoot it pass 500yds yet, that's as long as I have at the local range, I'll have to see how it does at 1K before final judgement is made. |

almost all scopes are built in China now....and IMO they are one of the best bargins out there are the are really under-rated...iow, most people have no idea how good a scope is and think that just because everybody buys a bushenell, zeiss, tasco or whatever that they are better, when actually the Milletts are very good.

I got my Millet scope, looks good but the test is when I get on a rifle. But interesting thing. The box is covered with Bushnell trademarks???
So I started checking, Bushnell has owned Millet for the last two years. I view this as good . I know the founder of Millet died a few years back, and I guess the kids couldn't keep just a sight manufacture going in the complex market. |

Bushnell bought Millet about a year ago, if not two...the rumored reason is because Millet had a Tactical line and Bushnell wanted to increase their..."stuff" in that area and buying a company w/a line in place was easier than R&D.

the Millets are made in China. I have the same scope as yours Stinky. Mine also have a lighted reticle, and mil dots. plenty heavy. not a scope for a light sportster. |
