With weather permitting , we try to take an Easter cruise through the Gates of the Mountains. The wind was a bit brisk but the sun was Bright and not many people. Being Easter there were very few fisherman to contend with, I could just go any place with out messing with any one else. The boat ran fantastic and I even got the Wife to drive some. There where no "Docks" out yet so the Jet was needed to do any stopping and looking around. We saw some Mountain Sheep just off the interstate by Wolf Creek but nothing on the lake. We did see our first two Buzzards to day and several Eagles and some Falcons, and of course Deer and Antelope.
PS \ Did you ever notice every body else's "I.Q." drops at a boat ramp ?? |

You have it made. Sounds great. I drove 8 hours to a clandestine meeting with my son and new daughter in law. Great time. Middle of no where. Going to get a double vodka and read "between a rock and a hard place". Got to get my boat by 4-18 or pay and extra month rent in the underground mine. Been cold, better to pay one more month rent than need new manifolds because of freezing. Saw 12 turkeys today and 32 deer. Trigger finger is getting twitches |
