visited the museum of the montana historical society in helena last week - took a lot of pix and will post them but this one in particular caught my eye.

no salt, no nitrates or cures, no fancy seasonings - no dehydrators flash-freezers etc.....just the way mama nature intended, maybe a little smoke drifting over from the campfire....
