I got out openning day here in Minnesota.  Didn't see anything, to warm.  I haven't out since.  Heading out next Tuesday for a couple of weeks of bow hunting.  I was just wondering how everyone else is doing.

i took the kids up north for the opener this morning. nathan took a shot and missed with his stick bow. timmy jumped 1 comming down from his stand and matt didnt see anything but turkeys , and that opens up on monday.  i sat in the truck cause i havent gotten my tags yet. but i did get to talk to kingpin while he was watching cement dry.

oh yes, it was a nice day started out in the 40's this morning and warmed up to the 80's and only got bitten by 1 skeeter.

Hands are filled with bites.  Mosquitoes were heavy last evening and they were really small.  I couldn't see them without my glasses on and I can't see anything over 3 feet with the glasses on....so I took the bites.  Should have opened my backpack and put on gloves....but I hate to move the last half hour before dark.

Spent yesterday in the buckeye state (that's Ohio) hunting deer with stick and string.  No shooters, plenty of friggin heat in the afternoon.  Wow, I thought it was summer again!

This one still had milk on his lips, but I was running out of time.

Well, I am chiming in late, but did not make it out at all. I did shoot quite a bit, and even got my son a bow for Christmas. I figure this is my last year with my current bow, and plan to buy a new one next year when I return from the desert.
