I picked up a Zoli Z43 Special (12ga 3" with 28" barrels, top is full choke bottom is modified) today, it's a good looking shotgun in pretty good shape.  Got it for $375, which seems like a pretty good deal from what I can tell.  It's older, but has a tight action, pretty clean.
After I got home, I discovered a couple of things.  First of all, this is an Angelo Zoli, not an Antonio Zoli.  Second, when I have the barrel selector on O, both barrels fire at the same time.  It works fine when the barrel selector is set to U.
I know the dealer pretty well, and I'm sure he'll fix it if it's fixable.  But I read a couple of comments that the Angelo Zoli's might not be as good as the Antonio's.  Think that's true?
Think I would be better off trading this in for one of the other used o/u's in the same price range?  There were a few others... Charles Daly Field III, Savage 340, etc... all about the same price.
Or get it fixed?

I like the gun.  It fits me well, just don't want to be stuck with a problem.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a pic:

it is so rude of a shotgun to double like that.

i have an old ithaca hammerless that thought that was funny, too... trip to the gun doc and about $20 fixed 'er up (the left barrel was the problem barrel). i see no reason why the same couldn't be done for your o/u.

can't help ya w/ the brands... i'm not much for scatterguns...

Hunting is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that.

Well... I took that zoli back.  got a used American Arms import of a Zabala Hermanos Spanish o/u in its place.  It was a good looking gun, but guess what?  Had problems with it, too.  The firing pin wouldn't reset every time.  I missed 3 doves last night because of that @#$%@ thing.
So, today I took it back and did what I should have done in the first place.

I ordered a new Rem 870 Wingmaster.

I have no doubt about that.  I have been using a Rem 870 express mag for bird and hog hunting for 3 years now, and I love it.  The Wingmaster just has more finish and smoothness to it.  My brother has an older wingmaster that has seen its share of work and it's still clicking along perfectly.
