Hopefully this will not be cancelled.

Was going scouting on monday...fear that when I find a big roost before the season, they will close the season  to get me.

One is not paranoid if they really are out to get you.

Turkey opened as planed today at sun up.
Bear will open sun up on Wednesday I'm confident.
Of course the foot of snow we are getting right now will not help one bit.OuchOuch

Been 60-70 oF here.  bright and sunny.

Daughter and her boy friend will be here tomorrow for dinner.

Just hanging in.  Knee still bad (but not like Dec-march).  I'm going out for turkey if only on cruches.  Archery most days close to home.

The PA  statewide spring gobbler season runs from May 2 to May 30.

The 2" of snow melted off yesterday and I'm sitting here with my coffee waiting for a late sleeper to crawl out and do the Easter eggs laying all over the place....did I just here a content purr?...yup, several...a couple dozen hens walking 30' out the door through the yard, pickin and purring. Gobblers are probably close by but not callin yet. Nice to see they are up and at em this morning.

Yeah....but if they keep up this nonsense, gooberment and turkeys, My self isolation won't allow me to leave my premise in my pj's to shoot one! Might get my fuzzy slippers infected or something.

I'm not doing the isolation thing.  Just not many places to go.

After the first peak in a week or two; we will get a second peak  2-3 weeks later.  Just like second wave harmonic, always happens in nature.  Hope the gov't doesn't go bonzo again.
