Paddlefish.
Fort Peck and up to Fort Benton. We did not get a "keep tag" but by applying we get a paddlefish license. I never could figure how catch and release is good when your using a big a$$ snagging hook, but we can. Now I can snag them from May first to June something. With a keep tag you have to keep the one you snag??? ![]() They are fun, an 80 to 130 pounds fish is always fun to fight.

I caught a few while living in MT. I never developed much of a taste for eating them though, so I quit fishing for them. They are awesome to fight and land though.
