TG. I build a lot of M1-A's and can tell you that a few years ago, the Norincos had a warning posted because the bolts were soft and the headspace opened up, on some models after only 100 rounds. I work on a Norinco from time to time, because they have a lot of soft parts that need replaced. That being said, I heard it through the grapevine that the CMP will be cutting off the full auto legs and selling them to civilian competitors. I haven't heard of them doing it yet, but there are some good names on M-14's. Names like Winchester, I.H. High Standard and a few Remingtons just to mention a few. I think as far as the Norinco M1A's go, I will stick with the Springfields that I alrady have. If they are working for you, would you keep a log so that you can compare wear with mine? I think about the only thing I broke was a bolt roller. That sure locks them up, tighter than Dicks hat band. I got a DNF in that match....LOL................Kingpin

No, I don't have a Norinco M1-A, and wouldn't. Way to many bad stories. The 1911 they imported was pretty good, though.
