I get to go on a snow goose hunt in March. Anybody have a favorite choke tube? I'll be using either my M1 super 90 or Super Nova, both have 28" barrels. The "Wad Wizard" looks interesting but it is kinda pricey. I have a few boxes of BB's BBB's and T's. They say the limit is 80 birds? Might need more ammo? Any suggestions on chokes for bigger steel shot like that? It's been at least ten years since I went goose hunting and don't really remember the set-up I was using but I think it was just a factory Mod. tube.

with steel shot and over decoys I'd use modified, especially if you are using BBs remember that you have a lot of pellets in steel than in a 1 1/2 once of lead.

For Pass shooting I might go with full, but the lead will be less critical with modified.

My concern is spending alot of money on marketing hype for a choke tube that doesn't work any better than a factory one. I've only done one triple ever. It was over twenty years ago some greater Canada geese.

We use a factory "Mod" and "T" shot. Or Dead Coyote that is t size "Heavy Shot" It's a bit over kill but there is no crippled birds.
Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box
