Heavy rains here over night, as per the universal LAW that says 'The more doves using the field, the higher the odds of miserable weather!'

Two of us sat in the vehicle watching them pour into the sunflower patch until the steady rain eased up a little about 4:30 today. We loaded up and walked into the patch and were done in about 20 minutes. Piles of birds here this year and a very few bigger colared doves. Kids will get turned loose in there Saturday. Long Live dove shooting, 28 ga shotguns, and old friends to share it with.
