   My pet load for my 29 was, a cast, gas checked Keith 265 Grain bullet, 24 grains of WW 296, and lit with a Rem Mag pistol primer. It will rattle your fillings and is very accurate in my gun. That being said, I worked this load up. Another load i like is, with the same bullet and 10 grains of bullseye powder. It's a very light recoiling load and as accurate as one can get in this caliber out to 100 yards. The above mentioned bazooka load was for shooting at three hundred yards, and for hunting deer, which it was death for any I caught under 100 yards. Just ask them. My sireies of .44's only helped me to be a proficient pistol shooter. I reasoned, 30 years ago, was to get the biggest at the time and shoot it like it would be illegal the next day, would make me far less recoil shy. It worked for me......................Kingpin

	I've got an old Model 29.Almost all the blueing is gone,mostly holster wear.A County Deputy used to carry it. The cylinder needs replaced as it is slightly belled in some of the chambers.Hot loads have the empty shells jam in the chambers. I also own a Ruger Super Blackhawk.
