   Tried out the 30/30 today ! very nice shooter. At 25 yards just to check for zero I put 3 shots into 1 hole.   I then put 2 rounds into a pop can at 50. For some reason it was high at 70 yards.My buddie (he can really shoot a rifle) missed with 4 shots and then spotted my 1st about 5 inches high. So I shot the last 3 aiming at the bottom  of the page, and the were about 5 inches high of point of aim in a nice group of just under 1.25, or about .75 better than my .338 win mag with a 420 dollar VX3.    The 4570 did well too and I really hope to get a shot at an ELK with the marlin 4570, I am shooting a 350 grain speer flat point at 1900 or a 300 grain sierra hp at about 2100 fps.
