I had some Unique in an unopened can, so I decided to load some 230 FMJs with it.  I generally use W231 for this bullet, but wasting powder is not in me, so I made a mid-range load up using the Unique.  It was all over the paper.  I was afraid it was me, so I checked with some VN320 load I had with me, and it grouped fine.  The only thing I can think of is that the colder temps had an impact on the Unique.  Now I've got 500 rounds of crappy ball ammo to either shoot, or wait until it warms up.  I've used the Unique load before with good results (6.0 grains).  Anyone ever heard that Unique is temperature sensitive?  Maybe I just got a bad can?
