 Here's a few pic's of the 30-06 I'm working on. It's almost done. It's a Mod. 70 wearing a Douglas barrel installed by Arnold Earhardt in Helena. Serengetti provided the laminated Bastgone blank and cut it to their Leopard pattern. I sent it back to them to checker when I was done. The scope is a Burris FF2 3-9.

Very sharp rifle and chambered in an '06 you can take it anywhere to get the job done!

Thanks all. It's a gift for my wifes little brother.

Max, I used true oil and then rubbed it out with linseed oil. I still need to do that a couple more times.

Deaddog, Serengeti takes a blank and cuts it into five pieces, the inner ones thin and the outer two thick. If the blank has even color it's hard to see.

Now it better be a shooter.
